Note:If the sunroof motor is new, cycle the sunroofseven-(7) times to teach the motor/actuatorinitialization process.
Perform the initialization/teach process on a new orreinstalled motor as follows:Ensure that the headliner electrical harness is connected tothe sunroof motor.Put the vehicle Park Brake On.Ensure that the vehicle is in Park.Engine running.Note:If the sunroof window doesn't go to the vent open positionfirst time, release the switch and press the switch again.
Press and hold the sunroof switch to the vent open positionuntil the sunroof window stops in the vent open position.Again press and hold the sunroof switch to the vent openposition for at least 10 seconds, then the window should moveslightly.Verify the sunroof operation.If the initialization/teach procedure is not carried outcompletely, it has to be started again.
