Preliminary ProceduresRaise and support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle.Remove the tire and wheel. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation.Remove the brake caliper bracket. Refer toRear Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement.Remove the brake rotor. Refer toRear Brake Rotor Replacement.Remove the wheel drive shaft retaining nut, if equipped.Refer toRear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement

Rear Wheel Bearing/Hub Bolt (Qty:-4)

Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.

ProcedureUse the proper cleaner to the thread of the boltsApply thread locker to the wheel bearing/hub bolts. Refer toAdhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers.

Tip:Allow the threadlocker to set for 10 minutes beforeusing.

Tighten

70-Y(52-lb-ft)

ProcedureDisconnect the electrical connector for the wheel speedsensor.If replacing the wheel bearing, transfer the wheel speedsensor. Refer toRear Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement.
