Oil Level Indicator and Tube Installation (LAF, LEA, or LUK) Engine Lubrication Oil Level Indicator Tube

Lubricate the oil level indicator tube O-ring.Refer toAdhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers.Install the oil level indicator-(2) and the oillevel indicator tube-(1) into the oil pan.

Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.

Install the oil level indicator tube bracketbolt-(3) to the intake manifold and tighten to10-Y-(89-lb-in).Install the electrical wiring harness to the oil levelindicator tube.Install the knock sensor wiring clip-(4) into theoil level indicator tube.
