Preliminary ProcedureRemove the front seat. Refer toDriver or Passenger Seat Removal and Installation.Remove the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer toFront Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.When working with the passenger seat re-zero the inflatablerestraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion orany component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer toControl Module References.

Front Seat Cushion Frame Bolt (Qty:-4)

Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.

Tighten

35-Y(26-lb-ft)

Note:When reinstalling bolts add a medium to high thread locker tothe bolt threads.

Front Seat Cushion Frame

ProcedureDisconnect electrical connectors as needed.If replacing with a new front seat cushion frame, transfercomponents as necessary.
