The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) describedin this PI.
Condition/ConcernWhile diagnosing a vehicle with an OnStar concern, technicians may find DTC B101D-37in the OnStar module (VCIM) while checking for codes.
Recommendation/InstructionsEngineering has identified that this DTC will only display in history on the scantool and will not cause issues with OnStar system operation. Dealers are to disregardthis history DTC and address any symptoms described by the customer, including anyadditional codes that may be current.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step.If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remainingsteps do not need to be performed.
