Preliminary ProceduresRelieve the fuel system pressure. Refer toFuel Pressure Relief.Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer toIntake Manifold Cover Replacement.Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer toFuel Pipe Shield Replacement.
1	Fitting Caution:Refer toFastener Caution. Tighten First Pass 15-Y (11-lb-ft)Second Pass 30-Y (22-lb-ft)
2	Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten 50-Y(28-lb-ft)
3	Fuel Feed Pipe ProcedureDISCARD the pipe when removed, and install a NEW pipe.Ensure that the high pressure fuel pipe, and fuel pump fittings are clean and dryprior to assembly.Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.
