Danger:To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or deathwhen major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicleis supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands atthe opposite end from which the components are being removed andstrap the vehicle to the hoist.

Preliminary ProceduresRaise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle.Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and InstallationRemove the right side catalytic converter. Refer toCatalytic Converter Replacement - Right SideRemove the rear mount.
