Preliminary Procedure Raise the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
1	Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe Nut Caution:Refer toFastener Caution. Tighten 22-Y (16-lb-ft)
2	Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe Quick Disconnect Procedure Disconnect the transmission line from the radiator. Refer toTransmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection.
3	Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe ProcedureInstall new sealing washers.Note the routing of the transmission line to ensure proper installation.Remove the transmission line from the clips securing the line to the transmissionand fan shroud.Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer toTransmission Fluid Level and Condition Check.
