Preliminary ProcedureOpen and support the liftgate.Remove the liftgate upper trim finish panel. Refer toLiftgate Upper Trim Finish Panel Replacement.

Rear End Spoiler Screw (Qty:-4)

Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.

Tighten

4.5-Y(40-lb-in)

Rear End Spoiler Bolt (Qty:-2)

Tighten

4.5-Y(40-lb-in)

Rear End Spoiler Nut

Tighten

4.5-Y(40-lb-in)

Rear End Spoiler Retainer (Qty:-4)

Tip:Use a trim-type release tool to disengage the retainers fromthe liftgate outer panel.

Rear End Spoiler Assembly

ProcedureDisconnect the rear window washer nozzle hose from the rearwindow washer nozzle spout.Disconnect the electrical connector for the high mount stoplamp.Remove the rear end spoiler assembly.Transfer the high mount stop lamp. Refer toHigh Mount Stop Lamp Replacement.
