Refer toHeated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 1.Remove the intake manifold bracket.Remove the 3 exhaust manifold fasteners. Refer toCatalytic Converter Replacement.

Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.

Tighten

14-Y (10-lb-ft)

Exhaust Manifold

ProcedureRemove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket.Clean any exhaust manifold gasket debris from the cylinder head and exhaust manifold.Install new exhaust manifold gasket.Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts working from the center out.
