The filter removes dust, pollen, and other airborne irritants from outside air thatis pulled into the vehicle.

The passenger compartment air filter can be accessed by removing the entire glovebox.
Open the glove box completely and locate the stop tab on top of the glove box door.
Push the stop tab upward until the stop tab is under the instrument panel assemblyand the glove box is released.Unsnap the tabs beneath the glove box that connect it to the bottom of the instrumentpanel assembly.Remove the glove box.Locate the service door for the passenger compartment air filter.Push the two tabs upward and release the latches holding the service door. Lift theservice door.

Remove the old air filter.Install the new air filter.Close the service door and latches.Reinstall the glove box.
