Note:Before replacing any engine mount due to suspected fluidloss, verify that the source of the fluid is the engine mount, notthe engine or accessories.
Install the engine support fixture. Refer toEngine Support Fixture.Observe the engine mount while raising the engine. Raisingthe engine removes the weight from the engine mount and createsslight tension on the rubber.Replace the engine mount if the engine mount exhibits any ofthe following conditions:The hard rubber is covered with heat check cracks.The rubber is separated from the metal plate of the enginemount.The rubber is split through the center of the enginemount.The engine mount itself is leaking fluid.For engine mount replacement.
