Chevrolet Equinox Service Manual: Sunroof Window Replacement
Removal Procedure
Caution:In order to prevent damage to the paint, mask the roof panelin front of the sunroof opening using masking tape andpaper.
Cycle the sunroof window to the vent position.Slide the sunshade rearward.Remove the sunroof panel side opening closeout covers. RefertoSunroof Panel Side Opening Closeout Cover Replacement.
Remove the sunroof window screws-(1) on bothsides.
Note:If operating the sunroof without the window, refer toSunroof Air Deflector Replacement.
Lift the sunroof window from the sunroof opening.Installation Procedure
Position the sunroof window into the opening.Install the sunroof window screws-(1). Do nottighten the screws.Carefully close the sunroof window from the vent position tothe full closed position.Adjust the sunroof window. Refer toSunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment.
Caution:Refer toFastener Caution.
Tighten the sunroof window screws to5-Y(44-lb-in).Install the sunroof panel side opening closeout covers. RefertoSunroof Panel Side Opening Closeout Cover Replacement.Operate the window to ensure that the window seal properly tothe frame.
