Most stationary windows, specifically windshields, are retained to the body with adhesivewhich adheres the window to the body, increasing structural integrity. The reinstallationof the windows with adhesive requires complete replacement of the adhesive bead, andis known as the full cut method. All stationary windows must use a adhesive systemswhich meet GM Specification GMW-15672.
