Warning:Refer toSIR Warning. Warning:Do not repair or replace the seat stitching or seams in theseat back trim cover with an internal mounted seat side airbagmodule. Replace the complete seat back trim cover from the OEM.Non-OEM seat stitching may cause improper airbag deployment whichcould result in personal injury. Preliminary ProcedureRemove the front seat. Refer toDriver or Passenger Seat Removal and Installation.Remove the front seat inner recliner finish cover. Refer toDriver or Passenger Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover Replacement.Remove the front seat outer adjuster finish cover. Refer toDriver or Passenger Seat Outer Adjuster Finish Cover Replacement.Remove the driver or passenger seat recliner handle, ifequipped. Refer toFront Seat Back Recliner Handle Replacement.Remove the front seat back cushion finish panel. Refer toFront Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement.Remove the video display, if equipped. 1 | Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover ProcedureDisengage the j-channel retainers from the seat back cushionframe.Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad from the seatcushion frame as an assembly. |
2 | Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Pad ProcedurePull the cushion cover off of the pad.Disconnect the electrical connectors that attach to the seatback cushion, if equipped with seat back cushion heater.Remove the rear seat back frame filler panel, ifnecessary. |
